That’s some nice metalflake. I didn’t know that they had that finish available.

I didn't either until I saw it for sale on eBay. I think I bought after about 12 hours of the listing and 60+ watchers.
I think this was offered as FSR (Fender Special Run) and they offered this blue one and a gold champagne.
They of course offered the silver sparkle for some time, but not considered a FSR.
All of the Squier Jaguar sparkle finishes are no longer available, bur I hear rumors about new ones for 2025.
The painted headstock is definitely a game changer!

The last thing I need is another guitar, but a metalflake Squier CV would be tempting.

Yea, that's exactly what I said too.
And when those champagne gold ones come back, I'll be in line!
Actually I would only hope for a Coke bottle green one.

It’s a mathematical law.
Number (guitars) Desired: ND
Number (guitars) owned: NO
ND == NO+1

IceratzSurf - the blue sparkle Jag is amazing, but so is the tiki themed strap you have on it!

Thanks! I like the Tiki strap a lot!
I customized the length to my Jaguar, remove all the buckles and then handstitch the leather ends back on.
I also sew a neoprene layer for the half that sits on my shoulder, it makes for padding and non-slip.

This is my Dipinto Los Straitjackets Galaxie IV. The newer ones - this is a 2024 model - like this are gold glitter not the earlier silver metalflake. Chris Dipinto customized this one for me by adding the old school yellow pearl headstock overlay and pickguard.

This is my older DiPinto Galaxie IV, Los Straitjackets model. Like some of these earlier ones the clear coat is yellowing a bit giving the guitar a gold metalflake appearance. This guitar was owned previously by Jimmy Vivino, band leader on the Conan O'Brien late night TV show.
