Chiba, see if you can focus your efforts, and whatever time you can get off from work, to make the SG101 Surf Festival in Long Beach. You will see so many of the surf bands discussed and meet so many of the SG101 family that it will help fuel your surf music desires for years, and net you some great new friends!

It's definitely at the top of my list. The biggest problem is the issue of a cross-country flight. Given my experiences with airlines & airplanes over the last few years, it'd be tough to get me on a flight like that. But it's not out of the realm of possibility ... yet

Jeff - Thanks for putting together all these events. Although I can't attend, just reading about them is inspiring! Anything to keep the surf community thriving.

I'm with you on that Chibs. Me and over the continent flights have not gone well. Checking to see if Doctor can prescribe a mild sedative. I'd love to go or have Agent Octopus play at summer event.
