Well, not RIGHT NOW, but a lot lately--Slacktone. What a great band--song writing, perfomance, tone, energy. I'm surprised it took me so long to listen to their music. A question: I can find most of their music and many live performances on YouTube, but I doubt the band is getting paid any for what I listen to. Anyplace to purchase their stuff that gets money to the band? —If I'd stop buying old guitars to fix, I might actually learn to play. |

I'm listening to me playing lead on my inexpensive but great sounding Daphne Blue Mexican Fender 50's Strat with the only mod being an anodized gold pickguard. And I would go so far and say that what you hear is the perfect euro-instro Stratocaster sound. The echo effect is a tube powered Vox Valvetronix box and the amp is a Vox AC4TV. Just bought the new Chillingsworth Surfingham’s CD Mavericks, and the new Desert Undertones CD The Sentinel off Bandcamp. Really like both of them!
