In response to the original question. No, I have not personally played the Oceans 3. But it's safe to assume that it is a good econo digital recent pedal. Among a handful of reverbs I have an Oceans 11. It is a good pedal for the money. Although I have stopped using it for classic retro surf reverb I did use it as such for a short time. Based on size and price my assumption is that the algorithms in the Oceans 3 are the same as those in the 11. It sounds like the controls offer a greater level of attenuation than what the 11 offered even with the dip switches. However it strikes me as superfluous for someone who already has the Oceans 11 because the gains in adjustability haven't turned into a true external tank style reverb.
