Hey this Saturday we will have a new surf band in the studios playing live on the show. It is a new surf band in Cincinnati. The Rockin' & Surfin' Show is from 6-8pm Eastern time zone.

Here is the backstory of the Atomic Palms? I suggest… They were once strapping young lads, keen to go to sea. Then came their big chance …World War II. While serving in the Pacific, they fell asleep and accidentally slid off the deck of their heavy cruiser, USS Limpet, after a particularly boring lecture on personal hygiene and communicable diseases. Plus the rolling, untamable seas. Stranded on Mog Mog Island, they survived for months by carefully rationing their socks. The advent of atomic testing in the Pacific Ocean saw them battered by beta rays, attacked by Alpha particles, girdled with gamma rays… and generally messed up. Rescued in 1963 by passing flying saucer, miraculously un-aged, they were in advertently dropped together in Cincinnati, Ohio. And have been making music ever since. OP
