Hi everyone. Im a lurker but a pretty new poster. Ive been looking for an old Japanese film called Eleki No Wakadaisho, sometimes it goes by Campus - a GoGo or The Kings Guitar.
I saw on the forums here that in the past a few people had it and one person was even adding subtitles to it. Ive reached out to that member, Aaron, but have not heard back.
I also know Videobeat sells it, but I've paid to have it shipped to my house twice now and it has still never made it here, despite being listed as "Delivered", so I'm kinda done dealing with that. If anyone thinks they might be able to help, please hit me up in the messages.
Thank you for your time!

Hey Companygripguitar, welcome to SG101! When you have a moment, go to the “Shallow End” forum and the “INTRODUCTIONS! New Members Post Here” thread and tell us more about yourself and your involvement with surf music.

I think I got my official copy from Amazon Japan but today there are only very expensive market sellers copies on there. However, CD Japan has it at a really great price of $17.29 (¥2,500). The backcover of mine states a suggested retail price of ¥4,500.

I've bought eleki CDs several times from CD Japan in the past without any issues. Also be aware that the DVD is Region 2.
As for subtitles, you don't watch this for the plot. You watch this for the sounds and the visuals.

Awesome! I’ll check it out. I stumbled across DVDLady yesterday. Anyone have any experience with her?
