Wonder if anyone has clips that they can share to show how prominent the drip is in the Version 3 classic. I realize that the clip from NAMM exist but there are a lot of factors and things happening around the guitar playing in that video. Anyone have a “quieter” clip with just you playing, palm muting, and getting it to drip?
I ask because I’ve bought new V1 and V2 and then the surfypan and never could get drip like we all know and love. So- curious if the extra short decay is the solution. It’d help me decide to spend $480. Thanks

I appear to be a thread killer anytime I post in the forum anymore. Sorry, if I’ve offended.

I don’t know if this video will help or not. It’s 3 years old so it’s probably the 2.1 version but it sounds great to me and definitely gets a good drip. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy one if I could afford it and besides they look so cool. I currently use a True Spring pedal and it sounds great too but I’m a sucker for analog circuitry and prefer it over digital any day. One of these days I’ll definitely own a classic.
As far as not getting responses goes I wouldn’t take it personal. It just seems to be the nature of forums these days. I’m on several different forums involving everything from guns to harmonicas and I’ve noticed in the past few years none of them get the participation they used to. I’m really not sure what to attribute that to other than the rise of social media. It’s a shame because I much prefer forums over social media groups anytime.
If you get that classic be sure to post some sounds. I would love to hear it. Have a nice day.

I have the 3.0 but no way to record it. It's extra drippy, more so than YouTube videos I've seen of the previous models. I was using an EHX Oceans 11 before but the Surfy Bear gets little subtleties in tone that a digital just can't.

Likewise Diggey. I didn’t even see this thread until today, but appreciate the info. I’ve seen you on various forums over the years and I even moderate one forum you’ve been known to post to, and never seen you as a problem user.

I received version 3.0 and can confirm it is in fact the drippiest. Solidly built and heavier than previous versions.
