Hey there sg101ers!
Many of you may have seen already but my band Trabants have just released a new 45 called "Mantra" vis Hypnotic Bridge Records. I was working my hardest to make the ultimate instro psych/surf hybrid and I think it turned out nicely. It's a bit of a sequel to our 2015 album Freakout which embraced the mid-late 60's sunset strip vibe. These two songs are a much more direct distillation though. Even the guitar sounds were actual hybrids utilizing A psychy tychobrahe Octavia fuzz through a showman borrowed, mojo and all, from Satan's Pilgrims.
