Hi all.
I picked up a used Lefty CV Jazzy a couple years ago. It had Kinman Jazzmasters (Thickmasters) already installed by previous owner, and i really like the pickups, as I play many different genres and they seem to be a happy medium between all. It has become my favorite guitar to play out of my geets.
I am happy with it as is, but wondering if there were upgrades that I'm overlooking that would make it even more outstanding as long as they are what you would consider monetarily worthwhile on a guitar at this level. Thanks for any info in advance! Cheers.

The pick up swap would be the biggest mod for me, but it sounds like you are good with it. If the tuning is stable, I would say play it as it is.

So far the tuning stability is pretty decent, but the tuners themselves feel pretty cheap, so down the road it feels like that might be an upgrade for sure. Thanks for the input revmike.

Tremolo arm often goes loose here. I have changed mine for Staytrem, the only upgrade I have on my CV Jag.

Thanks Samurai. So far it's still pretty good. I'll keep it in mind for the future though. Cheers.

Sure, don’t fix what is not broken but keep in mind that Staytrem does it in squire size and it feels sooo smooth now.
