Hello everyone, I’ve been lurking here for quite awhile so I figured I might as well take the plunge and become a member. I’ve been playing guitar for 50 years but just lately have become obsessed with surf music. Glad to see there’s a community still dedicated to this great music and carrying the torch into the future. I won’t bore you with anymore details about me but you can see more info in my profile.

Hey Boomerang, welcome to SG101! Since you've been lurking here for a while you know all the great content brought together by the members. Glad to have you here! Any chance you might make it out to the SG101 Surf Music Festival in July?

Thanks guys, I would love to make the festival one of these days but my budget just won’t allow for it this year. I hope it’s a blast and look forward to reading your post about it this summer.
