So I have a solid state Fender amp with beautiful clean sound that I'd like to make sound more like a Twin Reverb.

I bought a Sonic Blue Twanger just for this purpose but I'm unsure where to place it in my signal chain for best effect.

I have my Strat going into a Surfy Bear Classic, then the SBT, then Blossom Point.

The problem is way too much ice pick!

Should I move the SBT? Would it work in the effects loop part of my pedal board?

I'm really dying to steal Oleg's tone...

I guess you should choose between Blossom Point or Sonic Blue Twanger, together they give too much of everything, especially lows plus heavy compression. I use both after reverb but not simultaneously, that gives me two distinctly different sounds, Brownface and Blackface style.

Oh yeah, I guess I should have me mentioned I'm not trying to use both at the same time, that's definitely "too much"

Also make sure Sonic Blues Twanger is in a Rhythm mode, Lead mode is more for hard rock or heavy metal)

Yeah I've found the lead mode to be unusable!

Any suggestions for what knob settings to use on the Twanger?

I've only ever had solid state amps so I don't really have a feel for the whole "volume/master volume" gain balance...

I have used it in this tune, I think more or less with “everything on noon” setting. But my amp is a simple 1 watt head that is clean and neutral in sound and takes pedals perfectly.
