Permalink Fender American Original 60s Jazzmaster - Body + Parts - SOLD

New Topic

Selling an American Original 60s Jazzmaster body w/ everything but the neck and tuners. I honestly love the body, but I’m a sucker for Ocean Turquoise and just scored a deal on an OTM Jazzy body, so this is up for grabs.

AO Jazzmaster body, nitro finish in three-tone sunburst. USA tremolo w/ arm and a Mustang-style bridge. Fender AV65 pickups (nice, warm twang!) with a fully shielded pickguard and factory wiring. Cavities are shielded, yielding a very quiet guitar overall.

The overall combo sounds fantastic - It totally sold me on the Jazzmaster sound, as I’m more of a Jag, Gretsch and Mosrite guy - and I’d like to explore some different wiring and pickup combos with the OTM build.

Body is very lightweight - The full guitar weighed in under 7.5 pounds on my bathroom scale - but rings nicely and balances well on a strap. Cosmetically it’s pretty good, with some minor dings and scratches, mostly on the back and around the edges.

Not quite sure how to price this, as I don’t see American bodies coming up for sale that often. How about $OLD shipped to the lower 48 or best reasonable offer?
