Hi! I don't know what took me so long to land here, but here I am!
A little about me: I'm one of the guitarist for The Dreadtones and I play bass in The Smokewagons! After I finish this paragraph, I have to finish loading up for a Smokewagons show! What else? The Dreadtones are currently in the process of writing our next album. I think it's some of our best stuff! I've really been inspired a lot this year by some of the awesome surf releases we've gotten lately.
Well guys, my brain is in show mode and I can't think of anything else to add! If you have any questions, please ask away!
I'm just glad to be here!

Brian, we're glad you made it! I feel like you are a kindred spirit, as I am a bass player who was born and bred in Pittsburgh, though now I'm further south.
What kind of equipment do you use and which surf bands do you count as influential to your music?

In the Dreadtones, I use a Classic Vibe '60s Jaguar into a Surfy Bear, into either a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe or my 1965 Ampeg Gemini.
In the Smokewagons, I play either a Fender Jaguar bass or a Fender P Bass into a Fender Rumble 500.
I'm a huge gear junkie, but that's my main tools for these bands.
As for influences, I'd say I have inspirations. A lot of the recent bands that are coming out lately definitely inspire me. Hula Ghost, JUDODOJO, The Wet Ones!. They stand out. But there's so much great stuff being released. It really makes me happy to be a part of all of it.
