Hey, Dudes & Dudettes. I thought I'd give the forum a shot at this before I go to Reverb. A couple of years ago I gathered the parts to build my perfect Jaguar on a NOS Charcoal Frost MJT body I scored on eBay. Like a lot of guitar players, I spend too much trying to fall in love with new guitars. I've owned a few Jaguars and played many more, and this is among the nicest in terms of sound and playability, but I've had to come to terms (again) with the fact that I'm not a Jaguar guy. So here she is. Parts as follows.
MJT Jaguar Body - Charcoal Frost, NOS
Fender 099-1233-921 Classic Series '60s Jaguar Lacquer Neck, 22-Fret, with tuners
Fender 099-2238-000 Pure Vintage '65 Jaguar Pickup Set

Genuine Fender Thimble Bridge Posts (2) For Jag/Jazz, NICKEL, 005-4447-049
Genuine Fender Pure Vintage Knob Set For '65 Vintage Jaguar, 001-9455-049
Genuine Fender Pickguard For '65 Jaguar - 4-PLY BROWN SHELL, 009-4464-049
Genuine Fender Jaguar/Jazzmaster USA Vintage '62 Tailpiece Tremolo - Chrome
Hoagland Electronics Custom Jaguar plate and switch assembly
Handcrafted Jaguar Wiring Harness - 3 pre-wired sections for channeled Jaguar bodies
Switchcraft output jack
Chrome control plates (3)
Roller Knobs
Capacitor (main): Sprague "Orange Drop" poly cap
The guitar was professionally assembled and set up by our local tech, who is very meticulous and does good work. The body is still in the same condition I bought it, which is "NOS" with a little light distressing. The chips you see at the bottom of the back of the headstock are from hanging in a local store on consignment (which I now regret, but oh well). I practiced with and played several gigs with the guitar, so it's battle tested; holds tune, sounds good.
I'm asking $1400. Questions? Ask away.
