Hello fellow Surfers!
Lately I‘m thinking a lot about finally getting serious and starting a Surf Band. All instruments welcome. I play guitar (and a little Bass).
Original stuff and maybe some selected re-interpretations of normally non-surf songs.
Definitely need a Drummer - could possibly convince my regular Band‘s Bassist to jam along a few times (but as a father of four, his time is a bit limited, so no traveling to rehearsals for him).
As the holder of a „Klimaticket“ I can happily travel anywhere within Austria by train. But I can also offer an equipped rehearsal room in Upper Austria (Drums, Fender Dripedge Bandmaster and Blonde Fender Supersonic 60 as well as a 6G6-B Bassman Clone available).
Exotic, Anatolian/Middle East influences undeniable.
So far I play(ed) in a few Rock/Psychedelic Bands (with Doom, Garage and even some Italo Western/Surf influences present) - always wanted to induce more Surf but as they all were vocal based this plan always had its limitations.
