I've recently been digging into LogicPro to satisfy a lifelong desire to learn how to mix songs, and while I'm still just a newbie, I've had good enough results to want to keep doing it. So to that end, if any of you want to let me take a crack at mixing your song before you submit it to the comp, feel free to contact me. No obligations if you don't like the results. Just send me your individual instrument tracks and a moderate amount of notes, I'll give it a go and we can go through another round of revisions.

Danny, everything you touch turns to gold in my opinion. I would love to have you possibly master some music. Perhaps we could look at this in the future.

Very kind of you to say Dave! I don't have a clue about mastering, though LogicPro has introduced an AI mastering assistant I can give a try. For our member comp I don't think mastering is really necessary other than maybe some slight EQ, reverb and compression on the whole track to glue it together.

I would have LOVED to hear what you did with my submission, I SUCK ASS at mastering. This is a great way to practice, and with so many varied sources it's bound to be valuable learning.

Again just to be clear. I'm not offering mastering, that's a completely different process than mixing.

I can give mastering a try. I use a triple combination of AI, Audacity and digital artifact removal.

Danny mixed a song for me, and it came out great. Compared to my mix, Danny's version had much more depth and a better balance of the instruments. Thank you Danny!

For those of you that don't know, Mr. Snyder is a finish carpenter. he makes his living making everyone else look better.  There is no question of his talents but I think he is exploring his capabilities. Kudos Mr. Snyder.

I think it may be interesting on a regular basis for our community as a kind of friendly service exchange. For example I now also learning mixing and mastering so may take some tunes to finish. But there are some things that I cannot do, for example playing a short keyboard solo or making some nice drum fills. Just an idea)
