I have a Fender USA Jeff Beck model Stratocaster. It's probably the nicest guitar I own, or at least the most expensive.
Equipped with a 2 point floating tremelo, roller nut and locking tuners.
The combination stays in tune better and longer than any other guitar.
Floating tremelo allows a wide range down and a smaller range up.
It's my understanding that the UP range allows a perfect half step note.
The tremelo arm is a screw in type.but with a small spring and ball bearing bead, the swing action is stabilized.
Jeff Beck was particular to almost exclusively using the Strat, and he probably spent more time than most to tweak this tool.
I'll never let mine go
