Great sets from both bands! Paul, you've got to get more of the West Coast surf bands at your place and on that show!

Thanks Patrick!

Hopefully we can pull off another season! If we do then I will certainly do my best to get another surf band in there. Need to find some major funding to get another season done… any ideas?

Paul, I wish I could help. I have no idea on how to find major funding. If I did, I'd use it to help fund my retirement! Maybe some of those California based or National Arts Councils.

This is great. Joe’s sound makes another strong argument for Quilter amps!

The Vicissitones
Diesel Marine
The Rasputones

Word! He’s also such a great player that he’d sound amazing no matter what he’s playing through!

Oh man, a few months ago I went to watch him nearby.
He played his showman. What a sound....
That night I pissed my pants. But it could be of the massive drinking —

For the daring... and lusty!

I watched the show today and was totally impressed!
Thanks for the link!

Surfer Joe is inspiration as a modern Surf band, playing all originals, in the classic twang surf perfection.
I have heard his tunes before, never watched, but I just bought a couple CDs for my library.

So, his amplifier here was a simple Quilter?
What was the Reverb?

Lorenzo uses a surfy bear classic.
the company that he runs. —

Finally Season 2 is starting to air across the nation! So far I have found it on schedules in Idaho, Wyoming, Ohio, Oklahoma, Kansas and Florida. So definitely check your local PBS schedule. If you don't see it in the schedule then now is the time to request it! It's absolutely free for any PBS affiliate to add the season to their schedule. Surf On!

Thanks

Jeff(bigtikidude)

Found it in a small part of Michigan airing Fridays at 9pm. Delta College PBS for the areas of Bay City, Saginaw and Flint, MI.
