Great review of the Lords of Atlantis album in the new Pipeline Instrumental (Nice to see he REALLY likes our version of "Maroc 7"!  ) We're also in the third place of the Editors' Playlist for the issue, right behind the Madeira best-of - nothing like competing with yourself, and in fact, the best of yourself! Doh!   (Both were released by Tabu Recordings of House of Tabu - as was the fourth place entry, by The Tentakills - so that's a pretty nice trifecta there for this brand new label!)

A great album review from the new Exotica Moderne magazine (#21)!
A couple of quick highlights:
"The new album is as strong as one would expect from such great players.... There were some high expectations for this record, and the Lords delivered the goods. 2023 has been an excellent year for surf releases, and even with that being the case Lords of Atlantis should top some best-of lists. Don't miss this one."
(BTW, the LP - on green/blue vinyl, no less! - should be available a week from today! And the limited-release CD slowly dwindling in numbers....)

Perfect timing since my birthday is coming up and we had a real bad year.... just ordered one! But why won't you go true vintage and release a cd version on blue ehmmm...... make a cassette or 8-track.

Alan, there is already the Lords of Atlantis CD, it came out in June (and we had it for sale at the Surfer Joe festival). It is available here:

Ah, OK, you were thinking of the Madeira's "Archipelago" best-of. Yeah, that one is vinyl-only at this point. The label, Tabu Recordings, was started earlier this year as primarily a vinyl label, but they were willing to make a limited number of Lords of Atlantis CDs, too, so we could sell the album at the Surfer Joe festival in Italy last summer. No plans at this point for releasing Archipelago as a CD, but we'll see what the future brings. (We have had several people ask for it on CD, so we'll see, maybe....)
