Permalink PSA- Great Deal on Reverb- MIJ Jaguar (Lake Placid Blue w/ matching headstock) under $1400

I have no affiliation with the above listing, except for I own the exact same model and it has replaced my av65 jag as my number 1 guitar. I just saw this listing come up on reverb, and for less than $1400 shipped, this is a better deal than buying even directly from Japan. Seems like a good deal for someone! These are killer jags and actually...the most high end Jag in the entire Fender catalog currently, aside from the Johnny Marr Jag.

It might be the photo angle or lighting or both... or perhaps my newly updated vision Rx, but that body looks thin to me, particularly in this photo of it. If true, that could explain the very low weight for a Jaguar (7.4 lbs... really!?!)

I have this model and an AV65 jag, and I do think it may be a SLIGHTLY thinner body. The edges of the body are ever so slightly more "90 degrees" compared to the very round edges of the AV. That being said, I think it is lighter. For me, the differences are not big enough to have a significant difference in feel, especially when standing with a strap.
