Sorry if this has been covered. I've read through A LOT of posts! Looking for a pedal that can give me that initial "drip" or "sproing" with little or no trail. Any ideas? TIA!

It's always the Surfy Bear I may end up with one yet. Not exactly easy on the wallet or the pedal board lol |

True. But the first time you play through the real thing, you will understand and be glad you spent the money. |

Can confirm. I got a surfybear metal a few years ago and the first time playing through it I couldn't stop smiling. The sound was precisely what I had been looking for. I've since gotten a SurfyTrem too which, after having gone through several tremolo pedals before it, finally gave me the sound I wanted. Their stuff isn't cheap, but it's worth it imho. —Premiere Single Out Now! - Keep On Running |

Here's a new recording with splashy drip on the lead guitar and minimum tail, "Surf Blast." I used a Zoom effects pedal's "Springs 63" effect as the mainstay with other effects in the chain but no additional pedal. The "Springs 63" appears in several different Zoom pedals. Instrumentation is one guitar, one bass guitar, and drums, that is all. This is a demo version, I have not published the finished version. All are welcome to leave comments. https://soundcloud.com/conswartz/surf-blast —Insanitizers! http://www.insanitizers.com Last edited: Aug 26, 2023 17:05:57 |

Very nice! Grabbed some tunes off of Space Force as well, good stuff. I saw the Multi Stomp on 60 Cycle Hum and thought it sounded pretty good. May have to look into it |

Great sound and music! I can't believe this is all made with the Spring63 reverb of the Zoom MX70... really? |

I used the Zoom G1XOn pedal, an excellent pedal that was discontinued; the current replacement model is the G1X Four. This is a floor pedal and its effects are about the same as the G1XOn and MX70. Springs 63 is in the G1XOn pedal, and it is the main effect I used in the chain but I did use other effects in the chain that enhance it. That is a huge advantage of a multi-effects pedal--you can use several effects to get better results than a single effect can provide. All effects come on simultaneously at the settings you chose when you select the patch (i.e., the "recipe" of effects and settings). Moreover, I have different patches to get the tones I want from different guitars, despite differences among the guitars, mostly involving different EQ settings. All this does require study, experimentation and time... —Insanitizers! http://www.insanitizers.com Last edited: Aug 29, 2023 16:14:36 |

This. Fairly easy to use. Great drip. Nice tremolo too. —Sean |
