Anyone know any surf artists who write songs that use unconventional song structures? Artists who aren't just using Wipe Out as a song structure template? Example: The Family Dollar Pharaohs were active in the early/mid 90s where I live. I think surf is wide open for outside the box chord structures. The very kernels of the genre were not I-IV-Vs. Mr. Moto and Miserlou opened the door for all the creativity that followed. —Buy Endless Drummer @ Bandcamp |
