Any surf shows on Oahu ever? I had this record called Waikiki Surf Battle, that was documenting a surf festival in the early 60s at the Waikiki Shell! I remember seeing Hawaiian bands there. Growing up on that same island I could never imagine a surf show happening. It is so full of Hawaiian music and reggae. By the time I came of age in the 80s there were no signs that there was ever a surf scene. —Daniel Deathtide |

There was a guy named Ron Rhoades who was very active on the site a few years ago. Very friendly guy, I wonder what happened to him.
