Sounds great and looks to be a modified Fuzzrite.
I'll take a shot: Harmonics is an input capacitor blend; Mass sounds exactly like what I put in my second germanium Fuzzrite, a pot between the 22k resistor and ground so basically a bass control; Intensity is the stock Depth control that blends between the two transistors; the toggle switch in Japan mode reminds me of a Shin-Ei FY2/FY6.
It'll be interesting to see what values they went for. Definitely the missing link in the Surfy lineup. I bet it will be very popular.

Not my type of pedal, but I bet it was well made, and will sell a lot of units. Congratulations to Surfy Industries on their newest product.

Sounds interesting but it seems it will not replace my fuzzrites. I will check it in Livorno I hope)

Gonna snag one in Livorno.

That’s a hell of pedal! I need to sort out my current row of fuzzes and to get it)
Flexible, easy to use and great sounding in both modes. USA is a true 60s bzzz and Japan is more bald and moder sounding.
As always with Björn’s pedals it lacks some main fuzz pedal problems - constant search for a sweet spot and pain in adjusting it to live show sound after finding good settings at home. This pedal just sounds great all over and easy to adjust with “mass” knob.

I noticed when i opened my luggage after getting back from Livorno I somehow ended up with a SurfyFuzz.
I'm a big fan of fuzz, i have quite a few, and this Surfyfuzz is one of my favorites.
It behaves very nicely, no crazy feedback or obtrusive hum, especially for how nasty and cool the fuzz is, it really is well behaved when not being played.
Gotta say i love both settings; USA and Japan, and the controls are very useful.

I don't know if I'm chasing a ghost, or I just don't know what I'm doing. OK, I freely admit I don't know what I'm doing. So I hope someone can help me out. These are my Fuzz pedals.
My original reliable Ennio Trilogy Good, Bad and Ugly fuzz and my Ed Sanner by Hallmark FUZZ BLENDER.
Here's my dilemma. I'm chasing the exact guitar sound of "Frank's Theme" in "Once Upon a Time in the West" we hear as Frank approaches the boy after murdering his family and the camera slowly pans around Henry Fonda to reveal his face. It's probably the most iconic fuzz guitar sound in all of Spaghetti Westerns. And I can't recreate it with any of my guitars using either fuzz pedal. Does anyone have an idea what I'm missing or doing wrong? Surely between my Gretsch, Jaguar, Jazzmaster, or Stratocaster and one of my fuzz pedals that blistering sound has to be in there. I'm open to any ideas, including buying one more fuzz pedal if that's what's required. Thank you!

I know this is the SurfyFuzz thread, but I made a video testing both the SurfyFuzz and the Angry Hornet. This is not a shootout or A/B test. The boxes are both excellent and very different. You know you need both of them!
