Permalink New Practice Amp!

Ordered an Orange Micro Terror and a pair of AKG K240 headphones for silent practice. Hopefully it will work OK with my tank or I'll get a Topanga pedal.

I got these exclusively for practicing around 5 a.m.

This is going to be interesting.

Have you received your Terror? How are you finding it? Quite spoilt for choice in the micro amp department these days (I'm using a Roland Micro Cube, that headphones out socket must be making my neighbours weep with joy).

pavlovsdog,

I was just wondering how the micro terror worked out for you for practice.

Cheers,

Mike

Ha! I completely forgot about this thread!

Micro terror with headphones sounds pretty abysmal, I would recommend against buying it. I settled on plugging into my laptop through a Focusrite Scarlet or a Fender Micro Mustang for headphone playing.

Thanks!

I realize this is a mini head, but try swapping out the 12ax7 with a 5751. I play through a Micro Dark and this has helped a lot.

I want to hear Caravan with a drum solo.
