The Groovie Goolies is the most brilliantly obvious name of all-time. I am ashamed to have not thought of it. Imagine the gimmick you could have with that? Ghouls that are straight out of the 70s. Almost as great as Burger Kaiser.

Awwww, Danny beat me to it. As memory serves, The Undertaker and His Pals, which features members of The Coppertones and a Lava Rat have played with The Groovie Ghoulies a handful of times.

Those guys totally don't use the gimmick to full effect. It needs to be complete 70s cheese.

Hey, that's not bad stuff (their music, that is). Better than Green Day
and all those other lame-o "punk" bands from recent years. (Yes,
contrary to what The Exploited said, punk IS dead.)
But I still prefer The Circle Jerks, Dead Kennedys, The Clash, The
Ramones, The Sex Pistols, et al.

Oh, and as far as the "horror punk" or "ghoul rock" genre is concerned,
nobody beats The Cramps and 45 Grave. (And although not "punk,"
Haunted Garage is pretty cool, too.)

What first wave band(s) were Delvy and Fournier members of?
I can think of 3 bands from the top of my head.

Does everyone get the implied trivia question?
What first wave band(s) were Delvy and Fournier members of?
That would be "The Challengers", right?

The other two bands I was thinking of was the Bel-Airs (Delvy only) and the Clee-Shays.
