Great tour…love all the bands playing. Too bad no Halifax date.

Wish it wasn't 250 miles through the worst traffic (including DC & Baltimore) to come to your closest show. Here's to hoping you make it a little farther south!

Great to see this! It's tempting to become an SP groupie and road trip a few of these.

I‘ll see them at Surfer Joe‘s in Italy! Anyone else coming?

So cool to see the Pilgrims playing the Mountain Winery in Saratoga. That’s a beautiful spot.

Hoping to make it to the Camden, NJ show. Only a couple hours from Baltimore.

The Green Center at Sonoma State is an incredible venue!!! I'm not sure if The Pilgrims will be playing indoors or out, but can you imagine seeing them here?

I live very close to Sonoma State, but, alas, I will have to miss this show as I'll be on my way to the SG101 Fest.
But I will catch their show at Saratoga Mountain Winery.

My gawd, these are some incredible venues!!! Congratulations!

Wow! Congrats...Pier 17 in NYC is HUGE and, in my opinion the coolest venue in all of NYC. It's an outdoor rooftop setting with great views of the Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan Skyline. Soooo dope! I'll have to try to make this one!

It’s so cool you have the chance to do these gigs. How do you find playing in these venues vs a club in terms of audiences, style of show you put on, etc?

Thanks,
Rev

Hey Rev,
Thanks for asking!
These venues have been insanely amazing!
The staff at all of them have been incredibly nice and accommodating.
We are the "warm-up act" (like Cheap Trick was to KISS in 77 :))
We only play about 25 minutes a night, playing selections from Thomas Lauderdale Meets The Pilgrims, since we are touring to promote it. We also usually play one song without Thomas, usually The Godfather. Nostalgia and familiarity work well with a large crowd, most of whom have never heard of us, though we do thank the loyal legions of SP fans that have shown up at every show. By the time we got to the SG101 Festival, however, we were ready to stretch out, play our own set and throw down to a crowd of our friends on their feet and dancing just a few feet in front of us as opposed to a big faraway crowd of mostly seated folks. Both styles of shows have their pros and cons, but we are so grateful to have had the chance to do these shows in these amazing spaces and locations. Here I am during soundcheck in NYC with the Brooklyn Bridge as a backdrop. You can tell I am not bummed out at all Smile
