Hi!

I was chatting with the band about this and was wondering what a wider group might think.

One of our band members does awesome poster art work for us. He did a poster and Facebook ad for a show we have booked 3 months out. This made me wonder - is it too early to release the art? The venue has created an FB event, but not listed the show on their website yet (after all, it's 3 months out.) I worry if we publish the art now, it will just get buried at the bottom of every social media feed.

Another band member says I'm an idiot and we should publish the awesome artwork now.

I don't disagree that I'm an idiot, but what do y'all think about publishing the online poster on our IG and FB now as opposed to closer to the event?

Thanks for reading!

Post about shows every 2 weeks or so. Just because you post it, doesn’t mean all of your friends or followers will see it. I’m a firm believer that a venue, a band, and every band member should post about shows.
And not just once.,
