Is posible to modify a showman 6g14 head so it can be plugged into a showman dual cabinet?

If my 8 ohm showman amps run 12 hours straight with a 4 Ohm load year after year (SG101 Convention backline), yours should be fine. I put a small fan behind each head for some extra peace of mind. Otherwise, the best answers have been given and the other alternative would be to change the output transformer, but that is an extreme measure. Of course, if it's a recent repro head, the OT could have multiple taps, in which case you could have a switch installed to change between different impedances. Top
