formerly called the Ubangi stomp, it returns as The Marquesan stomp in a smaller box w greater EQ control and upper mids gain cut plus an asymmetric clipping - symmetric clipping switch (for hollowbodies and solid body mode). lower gain Rat works very well w Reverb and echo.

the more compact Version2 MARQUESAN STOMP is now available, and also ready to ship. If clean vintage surf isnt your thing, this will get you dirty cleans to twangy crunch and even outright filthy distortion. dual mode switch on the side lets you move from a compressed or open clipping (asymmetric or symmetric) crunch.
I like the the classic symmetric setting for my strat and dipinto G4.

I still do the handwired ones and use the spaceship metal can 308 opamp, for those that want it at a handwired price. these are crammed into a little box and room is needed for all the pots and switches, so the circuit has been revised to fit thus no room. (ps. on a scope I'm not finding much difference tween the cool old metal 308 and the 80s plastic opamp, also the compresssed mode rocks better w the plastic chip. The old metal can sort of has a tiny more twang in clean boost mode, which is why I chose it when this pedal was called the ubangi stomp)

Ive moved to a smaller box and made the compressed mode switch that was internal, now on the outside of the box. Currently going w the teal powdercoat. I did like the vanilla boxes too.
