I've been behaving myself for a while but thought this was a great deal for somebody

These guitars alone have been going for close to $300 so that's a good deal for the whole shebang. Nice Black Sparkle version versus more common plain black. If you like the Danelectro's, of course...

Actually, all those line of Dano with the amp-in-case are black sparkle. This one just shows more because the guy took pics out in the sun.
I have one myself, but it has been re-finished (and only a so-so job, done before I bought it) to a metallic blue. They're cool guitars, but are much better just for the novelty factor than as an actual player.
One other thing worth nothing is that these guitars are TINY! I'd say it's more like a 2/3 size than a 3/4. It doesn't help that I'm a big guy, but this tends to look like a toy in my hands.

SurfBandBill: I do believe that they came in a dark red sparkle, also.

That could well be, but I don't know that I've seen hardly any in that finish. As I recall, the two-pickup version (with the amp-in-case that had a tremolo circuit) was a reddish sunburst.
Then again, my dad was in high school when these guys came out, so my only experience with them or seeing them has been online.
