Are people here a fan of tiki bars?

I used to live in San Francisco which I would consider one of the best cities when it comes to the number of awesome tiki bars. I was always a huge fan of Pagan Idol for both the atmosphere and drinks

Secret island in Long Beach is a great tiki bar and the site of the first night of the surf convention next weekend.

Tonga Hut in north Hollywood. It's LA's oldest tiki bar, and the drinks are top-notch.

Closed now,
But I miss Sam’s seafood/Don the Beachcomber in Sunset beach.
Building there still, but closed.

We only have one tiki bar here but they wouldn't give my band 'The Gamma Rays' a gig so I created one in the garage to play in.

San Diego has a bunch of tiki bars, more than any city Ive ever been to. False Idol is really good.

Yes. Spain has a few,
Germany a couple trader Vic’s.
and England has a couple.

Ask Jonpaul, he’s been to some of them.

The best known tiki bar in the Netherlands is Vavoom! Tiki Room in Den Haag (The Hague), they also have surf band shows. There might be a few others here.
