From DIY magazine, July 1981. Reviewer notes, "...because music travels in cycles, and because this purely instrumental music is fairly limited in sound and concept, the odds are the new surf revival, if it happens at all outside of Los Angeles, will be a passing fad. The live Nightriders' album, for all its high spirits, healthy energy and unbridled fun, is at heart a novelty record."

That reviewer would have had a great career at Rolling Stone, who were notorious for making such "insightful" pronouncements!
