How do you like your Big Star? Most of the online demos for Spurs lean heavily toward the heavy tube distortion tones. Does it do clean? There's one for sale near me that caught my eye.

It sounds amazing. a buddy of mine just bought it off me. but it does a killer clean. I just downsized to a 1600Supreme that also gets a great clean tone. Only reason i sold was to have a smaller footprint instead of a 2x12 but one of the best amps i have ever owned

Thanks for the info. I'm trying to decide between a Big Sky and a Dual Tone, both available within driving distance. 1x12 vs 2x12 seems to be the only difference (well, and 15 lbs!).

I guess it comes down to how much portability you need.
