Jeff, I was just looking up the location of the venue… is it not basically diagonally across PCH from Corvette Sandy’s old Baskin Robbins? Whatever happened to her? Pyronauts played there our very first tour to SoCal.

It is, the Baskin Robbin’s is long gone,
I don’t know what happened to her.
The Intrepids(band I was in with Jim Frias) and The Volcanics also both had first or early gigs at that gig she put on.
The club/hotel is also next door to the Gas Lamp
Where the PJ benefit was.

A 6.4 magnitude earthquake occurred this morning, with the epicenter near Ferndale, CA where Pyronauts Paul lives. I hope that you are OK Paul.

Yes it sure did! Doing good now. Power back on after about 36 hours off. Minimal damage in Ferndale, but some nearby places got hit harder (though further from the epicenter). Lots of aftershocks. I’ll call you in the next day or two Jeff!

Is it cold n bitter winter where you are?
Consider coming to So Cal for the Winter Surf Fest.
It’s indoors, but the outside weather averages 55-70 in the day.
45 at night. The Venue has plenty of free parking, And Discounted rooms if you need. Call the number on the flyer M-F during business hours. Also there is a discount if you buy tix for both days. Hope to see many of you there, please share this info and the Flyer.
