Hi everybody,
I just got my dream guitar, and am completely blown away by it! It is easily the most comfortable, best playing and sounding guitar I have ever owned or played. I have only tried it at Guitar Center so far, and it sounded amazing on a '65 Deluxe Reverb. I can't wait to try it out on my 6G14 with my tank. Here are some photos of it!

Sweet guitar! I had to do a double take because the bridge pickup is reverse angled.

Beautiful. Custom Shop guitars are so nice.
Reverse angled bridge pu's on Strats sound great.

Thank you for the comments guys, I really appreciate it. I was absolutely blown away by the tone when I plugged into my 6G14 and tank! I'll make a recording as soon as I get some free time. Also, am I supposed to remove the protective cover over the headstock logo, or is that actually a decal?

Nice guitar. Are you gonna add the stickers to it or keep it as is?

Thank you, I appreciate it. You know what, I am going back and forth about the stickers. I think after I have had it for a few months, I will go ahead and add them. Someone here, or maybe it was the Gear Page, sent me a link to both of the stickers on the front. I wish I could remember who/where it was so I could find them again.
On another note, I am being told that putting 14-58 will cause a lot of stress on the guitar. He said I will have to drop down tune, or something like that. Is it possible to get 14-58 on this guitar? I think Dick's strings were 14, 18, 20, 38W, 48W, 58W (I know he had .16s as well).

I think this is the link to the stickers.

I'm not sure about the string gauge. If that level of detail isn't too important, I'd just have it set up to how you play.

Hey guys, I am so confused on how to restring this guitar! Everything is in “reverse,” and it takes a while for my brain to adjust. Any tips or advice? Video and audio of me playing will be coming soon! Thank you for your help.

I promise I won't keep bumping this thread. However, I made a video and wanted to share it with you guys. Please remember, I am not a pro like many others on this forum. Thanks for checking it out!

Beautiful! Congratulations again on this gorgeous guitar! I think I would add stickers if I had this one but surely not string it with 14s. if you are not comfortable with them. But if you really wanna play 14s and love them - why not!

Hi Samurai, I hope you're doing well. The strings I have on the guitar are .14 .18 .20P 38 48 58. I am very comfortable playing this heavy, they feel great. In fact, the .12s on my Vintera Strat feel light now!

Where did you get those strings from? Tone sounds identical to DD. Is that a Surfer gomez amp?
