I highly recommend the JAM Pedals Harmonious Monk. The harmonic vibrato is the best I've heard in pedal form. It also does a nice standard tremolo too.

I use Marshall Vibratrem for some 17 years and still happy with it. I’ve bought and sold some 5-6 tremolo pedals these years but I liked Marshall better every time, smooth, easily tuned nicely boosted plus vibrato option added. I also use Pipeline tremolo sometimes but keep it manly for name and look, plus tap tempo option) Now I want to add harmonic tremolo, I had Flint for a couple of years and this is the only thing I miss from it. I guess I will buy SurfyBear but Supro tremolo also sounds so nice. —Waikiki Makaki surf-rock band from Ukraine https://linktr.ee/waikikimakaki Lost Diver https://lostdiver.bandcamp.com |

I was just in this situation a few days ago, I ended up going with a new Boss TR2 Tremolo. It's important/helpful to know what type of tremolo you want (eg. Opto, Bias, Harmonic, etc) then choose from there. Then decide if you want an "analog" style pedal (which is typically one type of trem) or one that is "digital/modeling" which typically have a few built in trems to choose from. There's also the mangnatone vibrato, but I find that less useful to me then a opto. I've used Boss TR2, Boss TR2 Keely mod, Voodoo Labs Trem, Demeter Tremolo, Mooer trelicopter, Flint, Bigfoot Magnavibe, Source Audio True Spring w/Tremolo, Bigtone Music Maggie, Surfybear SurfyVibe, a blackface amp with the built in tremolo ---- some of these a few times. After all those, I'm back on the Boss TR2 (the new one without the volume drop) Last edited: Jul 03, 2022 10:37:30 |

What year did they mod to have no volume drop? I have had mine for 2 years but it seems to have that. —Social Media |

Currently I’m using a Mr Black Deluxe Plus, but I’m contemplating a Nocturne Nailhead. My Voodoo Labs Tremolo treated me well, but it’s a big pedal |

For years I used a Boss TR2 - first with the C4 clip mod and then with the volume knob mod from a Monty Allums kit - its a really useful pedal, but now I use the Surfy Industries Surfy Trem - it just does every I want. Last edited: Jul 03, 2022 16:09:22 |

I have one amp with great built in tremolo, so that’s my first choice, but with any other amp, I use my TR-2, on the sine-wave waveform. I don’t know what they did to correct the volume problem, but having owned both the older and newer versions of the pedal, I can report that the problem was cured on newer production examples. —The artist formerly known as: Synchro When Surf Guitar is outlawed only outlaws will play Surf Guitar. |

It could HP be as simple as an internal trimpot, if your pedal is that new. —The artist formerly known as: Synchro When Surf Guitar is outlawed only outlaws will play Surf Guitar. Last edited: Jul 07, 2022 09:52:39 |
