Most Excellent Chad! I spend more and more time on the YouTube channel - on the TV not the computer. There are so many quality music related channels - interviews, theory, production, tutorials etc. I subscribe to Rick Beato's channel out of Atlanta, and his stuff is outstanding. Plus, you get enough subscribers and you can make some dough. I believe a few quality surf-related YouTube channels could bring a whole new generation into the fold. Thanks, Bill! I am a little surprised there isn't a surf music review channel already and that's one of the main reasons we decided to start. Plus, it's a heck of a lot easier than putting my podcast episodes together. Jeremy (Aqualadius) turned me on to this guy Kaiwaza doing Hawaiian music reviews on YouTube (they're fantastic, please check them out if you're into that sort of thing) so that was a big source of inspiration. —The Squares - 1995-2002 |
