Brian posted this in the band mp3 thread:
Cheers Brian for all the Hard work you do!
Today is the official 16th birthday of SG101 as an independent website.(it was a Yahoo Group for roughly 5 years before that).

Congratulations and the best wishes for the future! I'm very glad that this site exists as a place where we can all come together, especially since the non-surf-music-world continues with its attempts to drive people apart.

Well stated. We’re a small faction of the music world, and this is an invaluable meeting place for us.

Keep up the good work.

Happy sweet sixteen SG101! This site is one of the few truly great online places. I joined four years ago so that’s twelve donations I missed. Gonna remedy that now.
Brian this site is perfect. No like buttons, no fancy flash shit, no ads, just people and surf music.

Hey thanks a lot everyone!
I've been grappling with what to do about SG101 for quite some time and threads like this help with clarification. I'm probably going to post some thoughts on the future of SG101 after I do some more thinkin'.
