Thanks so much for sharing that photo! I was looking for reference to do a little portrait of Dave(my cousin)for his sister and was delighted to find yours. I don’t know much about the band other then I believe they started in So Cal and then moved to Detroit and maybe back to California. I’ll ask my family members if they remember your dad. Smile

Just found this site. I went to high school with Dave and Mark. (Nogales High School in what was then La Puente.) Also with Ronnie Blue (bass player for a while) and his sister, Sharon. (Dave’s girl friend for a while.) I was part of the band’s following. I drew the logo on Kenny’s bass drum. (Shown in the photo) They played at a lot of high school dances and had an ongoing gig at a roller rink in Pomona. I remember when they did their first record, ‘Shortning Bread.’ Everyone called all the radio stations requesting air play. Good times. I was married for a while after high school, but reconnected with Dave and Mark at Valley College in San Bernardino. They had a regular act the the Penny U. (A local coffee house) They had traded their Fenders for Martin acoustics and were playing acoustic blues and folk music. I moved away to Arizona and lost touch. I know Dave has passed, but if Mark is still around, Hey!, old friend.
