Are you aware that there are DJs that spend many hours every single week researching and listening to new releases? IMHO Listening to these shows is still the best way to stay on top of what’s going on in the contemporary global scene and carries on the tried and true tradition of presenting the new music of this genre established by genre luminaries/icons such as Phil Dirt (formerly of KFJC) and Jim Dunfrund (former of KXLU). Not to mention, the DJs have special relationships with the bands and labels directly and are often given early access to releases before they’re available to the general public. Why not tune in and support? —Insect Surfers |

JonPaul, I love your show but can't count on hearing it when you are on. I used to listen to the archives but I can't find them anymore. It's the best show that I know of. —The Kahuna Kings https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Kahuna-Kings/459752090818447 |

Yep, I listen to Jonpaul’s shows on my commutes by using the podcast page like Jeff mentioned. Other great shows include Storm Surge of Reverb, A day at the beach (Clint Beachwood), and Paradise Cove on GTF Instrumental (where John Blair’s Bad News is as well though not music from last year). —-Eric New music! Thanks Jeff! I have tried in the past but hadn't seen them. Will look more thoroughly. My favorite radio show but Saturdays at that time are almost impossible for me. —The Kahuna Kings https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Kahuna-Kings/459752090818447 |
