Permalink The fire kept us warm in Denver...

New Topic

The Royal Aces just played a 6 to 9 pm gig in Denver, and it was on the sidewalk of the bar (there's a huge tent for customers, with lots of fire pits, so those folks were quite warm while listening) But...it got very cold, and we really relied on the one fire pit that was lit in front of us. Much hand warming over the flame, but we completed the gig, and got a great reception by the customers. And yes those are Santa hats!

Eek, that’s a long time to play in the cold. I see fingerless gloves in your future . . . .

Kudos for playing in the freezing cold! We do it for the love of the music/genre, not for the money.

MooreLoud.com - A tribute to Dick Dale. New Singles "Finish Line" and "Paradiso" on Bandcamp and website.

Preach it, SixStringSurfer (although I will admit there was nice pay for the gig!)
