San Diego people, The Scimitars have an early outdoor show on Saturday October 9th.
Remember, this (and the show in Long Beach the next day) will be the last chance to see us with Josh, our guitarist, who is leaving California.
Join us for an evening of Middle-Eastern influenced Surf music by The Scimitars, featuring belly dancing by the lovely Jayna Manoushe
Then, prepare for triple bass Surf attack of SeaBase : Three bassists & one drummer bring you a mix of Surf, exotica, and even some surprising takes on New Wave & Punk classics.

Really looking forward to these shows! Jamming one last time with my brothers before I go to the great snowy north.
Its been too long since our last shows (darned virus!). Since then, we've made a few changes in our lineup and tweaked the set a little, and also I've thoroughly upgraded my gear, so I'm super stoked that we're playing!
Hopefully we can see some sg101 family representing at these shows

The guitar players tone sounds amazing. Is that a 6G14 circuit?

Thanks. Both Josh and I played our 62 Showman amps, which are 6G14-A

It is BEYOND an honor and privilege to finally be involved in a proper band with Ran. MANY years in the making, but at last, we are doing things!
So much to come in the future. Stay tuned!

Thanks brother, the pleasure is all mine!
And here's a video our song "Damascus Steel" with Jayna Manoushe performing a dual scimitar dance:
