Amigos! FYI I’ve got some exciting stuff in the works in the realm of YouTube vlogging!! a channel called “Beyond The Surf” with the emphasis of digging deeper into the genre we know and love with a passion aka “Surf Music” and relevant sub-genres. My research and quest will be with the collaborations and help of other fellow surfers and lovers of the genre around the world. I will be hitting big on the music, the art, surf music around the world, SG101, Surf music events around the world, the faces behind the magic, the gear, the collectors, the guitarist, the bassist, the drummers, the keyboardist, the technique, the recording process, interviews and beyond, a first in one place!! I need you!!! A Patreon platform will be set up in the super near future to help start up things and to keep the surf ship afloat with your generous contributions and support! Projected for 2022.
This YouTube channel idea “Beyond The Surf” came to me exactly how the SG101 convention came to me one morning in 2005 like an epiphany a calling the idea of a surf convention is needed for the Surf Guitar 101 community, A weekender a place the west coast’s own surf guitar fest get together, SG101 Surf convention was born and caught fire around the globe. My hopes and feeling is this channel can become a powerful, visual, promising and informative tool with content and subjects, a helpful vessel for the audience and lovers of the genre that has never been presented like this before.

April 27, 2022 UPDATE:
Hello fellow surfers just wanted to give you guys a status update on my new and upcoming YouTube Channel Beyond The Surf.

Hit to debut in later June 2022 with guest pal Garrett Immel who has was gracious to open up his musical world to Beyond The Surf with some really cool insights and treats.
Had an awesome visit and time with pal Jeff Hanson BigTikiDude for an on camera interview.
Headed out to The Barkely to hang and chat with Frankie De La Torre, that was a blast!
On to San Diego to hang with long time buddy Jason Lee who open up his place to Beyond The Surf, that was fun!
I'll be covering more fellow surfers, events, gear try outs and more! to the screen for Beyond The Surf. Stay tuned!
