Hey everyone,
I hope we are all well and staying safe out there.
Just wanted to share a recent recording that I did from my home studio.
Obviously, we haven't been able to do much in the way of rehearsing or playing live anywhere for most of this year so, I decided to make up an imaginary surf band to 'tide' me over (pun intended!) until real gigging resumes again. The recording has a pretty raw, lo-fi vibe and some of my playing is kinda scrappy in places!
So, I present the first single entitled "Last Wave" by Shore Line Dreamers.

This is really cool! I dig the high energy attack. Perfect soundtrack for riding one's last wave! Any more in the pipe?

Hey, thanks to you all for the kind comments. Much appreciated! I haven't had a whole bunch of time lately to get started on some more surf instros but I hope to get back in to the studio soon! I'll post any new tracks on here in due course.

Nice tune. Did you say that the track was done at home? You did a good job with mixing and getting a nice tone. I do home recording with a Tascam. Could you listen and give me feedback to some of my music? I am on Bandcamp and my band name is The Astro surfs

Thanks for the kind words. Can I ask which tune you are referring to?
I record everything at home in my tiny studio. I use Logic Pro X. Programmed beats using drummer and guitar/bass DI'd going into an Apogee Element 88 interface.
I will definitely check out The Astro Surfs and let you know what I think! Thanks!

I have just been enjoying your Astro Surfs tracks! Really cool. I like your vocals and lyrics, too. Kind of has that Untamed Youth vibe going on! Got any more tunes?

Thanks man. I am currently rehearsing some things I might record (I am arranging a surf version of Bad Romance by Lady gaga) I think a trans Atlantic surf collaboration would be cool!
