Permalink NGD! Mahogany Seüf Jazzmaster

New Topic

Dreamed this guy up at the beginning of the pandemic, it arrived last week!
Seüf Jazzmaster in Ocean Turquoise. This guy features their usual tweaks of the neck trajectory and guts, but was made with a mahogany body and neck. I had the Brazilian fretboard laying around my shop so I sent that to them to use on the build.

This thing sounds amazing, so warm and sweet! Early Esquire neck profile, the bat is where it's at!

That's awesome, Tonechaser! Love it! Does the mahogany body make a significant tonal difference? Is the weight considerably more?

Bob

Really nice! Congrats!

Robbie, it does have a more smooth and warm tone than my Fender. I has hoping for that.
The twins chose very light weight wood for the body and neck so it actually comes in a couple of pounds less than my Fender, which I consider a heavy one.

Sounds like an incredible instrument. I love the sound of mahogany. Lightweight guitars usually seem to resonate better. Congratulations, Tonechaser!
