Permalink Los Harakiris; Lee and the Harakiris

Not to kidnap the Longboards' Spanish 60's thread, here's one that's definitely related. I looked for something by Los Jets or Los 4 jets with no luck and found these by Los Harakiris - a interesting current Spanish instrumental group with a MySpace presence.

The MySpace material includes the usual four recordings, including a nice For a Few Dollars More. At one point that had up The Drum Number. The YouTube stuff is fan live recordings with small cameras and sounds as might be expected.

Sing, Sing, Sing

The Harakiris during their concert, at the Costello Club on the 29th of July, 2006. Enjoy this song called "Sing, sing, sing" (Louis Prima's song with Flat Duo Jets' style !!!) recorded live, and don't miss them if they play somewhere near you!!! Harakiris Fever !!! !!!

Ginchy - Ventures Cover

Mr. Rebel (half of it)

Jaguar's Dreams

Nino Rota

This last may be a bit reminiscent of the Surf Kings.

I also noticed some somewhat similar quality live videos of things by Lee and the Harakiris, another Spanish group: "Lee and the Harakiris es una gran banda de surf de Valencia." These guys are much more trad surf and serious Dick Dale fans.

Codename Gypsy by the Penetrators - I knew it sounded familiar.

etc.
