Hi there guys!
Heres a little solo I worked out some time ago.
Wanted to keep a surfy feel with some ideas from other genres as well.
Tried to incorporate some ideas from gypsy jazz and some muted picking in the style of Al Di Meola(which I think sounds really cool with spring reverb!)
Would love to hear what you guys think ![Very Happy Very Happy](/media/smiley/images/icon_biggrin.gif)

Your solo reminds me a lot of Megedeth's "Tornado Of Souls"!
Perhaps you heard it in your subconscious ![Smile Smile](/media/smiley/images/icon_smile.gif)

Love that solo!(And song) Marty Friedman at his best.
Not sure if I heard it in my subconscious, but I can see what you mean.
Hmmm... Maybe I should do a Tornado of Souls surf rock tribute?

If you do, count me in!
I love that song and especially Marty Friedman's style. Maybe find some others on SG101 (drums-bass) to do an online tribute

This is so great! What a cool style. I’m not a fan of the dirt, but everything else is absolutely stellar!

Thanks a lot guys!
Yeah, was really into heavy metal/shredding before I discovered surf. Guess that shines through
