There was a clip posted in a Facebook group that I thought some people here might be interested in. The BBC did a special called "The Shadows at Sixty" where they got some of the original members together to talk. The clip is specifically around Apache:

Sorry to go slightly off topic, but this is a nice view (for this Yank) into Brit culture and The Shadows’ place in it. Cockney rhyming slang referencing Hank in an advert.
