Permalink FS Pandemic Jaguar build SOLD

New Topic

During this pandemic so far, I've built 2 Jaguars. I'm very, very happy with both of them, but I decided to let one go. I built this mostly with parts that I bought off OSG. Here are the details: MJT ash body (with usual deep neck pocket) with a see-through Fiesta Red nitro finish, All-Parts Jaguar neck with the matching headstock with ReRanch nitro, relic was done on the neck already, but the neck is great. Most of the other parts are various bits I had lying around the workshop. The tuners are Klusons, pups are AV65 Pure Vintage, wiring is mostly cloth but the upper electronics are not. The body was routed for different pickups and the cavities/holes had to be adjusted to build a traditional Jag. The tailpiece is one of the newer ones with the threaded arm. I don't know exactly if it's from a MIM or newer US model as it came with the body. The bridge is a Mustang style with adjustment screws and the mint green guard is Fender AVRI. The cavities inside were painted with military-grade conductive graphite shielding paint. I spent more hours working on this one than I've ever spent and it surely was a labor of love. I'll do $850 shipped CONUS and it will come with a soft case (gig bag). I wasn't going to sell it, but I'm GASsing on a Rickenbacker right now.

Thanks Paul! I have fun building these. I don't know why I chose the Jaguar, though, because it's a wiring nightmare! LOL

I made a little video to highlight how this Jaguar sounds...just like a Jaguar should. Feel free to ask me any questions if you're interested. I could also trade a bit depending. I'm using a Quilter 101 head through my '62 Bassman's cab. The reverb I switch on is the Surfy Bear.
